UT is a large school with many students and organizations, hence a large STEM community. For those of you interested in exploring this community, the following links might be a helpful starting point.

Battle of PMA (short for Physics, Math, Astronomy) is a fun social event that has taken place once every semester since Spring 2018. Battle of PMA is jointly organized by AWM, ASA, SPS, UWIP, and the UT Math Club and brings physics, math, and astronomy majors all together in one place. The event includes free food and prizes.

One big organization which started towards the end of the spring 2019 semester is the Physics, Math, and Astronomy Board for Student Advocacy (PMA BSA or just BSA for short). The primary aim of the BSA is to support and improve the community of students at RLM through concrete initiatives targeting unaddressed needs or underrepresented groups. If you are interested then go check out this fledgling organization.
